Nigerian comedian Zic Saloma has shared why he chose to undergo cosmetic surgery.
He explained that it stemmed from years of feeling insecure about his looks.
In a video on his Instagram page, he revealed that his appearance had affected his career, causing him to miss several job opportunities in the entertainment industry.
The skit maker said he decided to have nose surgery to feel more comfortable in his own skin.

Alongside the rhinoplasty, he also had a facelift and eye rejuvenation, a process that took over four hours to complete.
The procedure was done in Turkey and valued at around $11,000, though he did not pay for it directly, as it was arranged in collaboration with the hospital.
Zic Saloma shared that the surgery has boosted his self-confidence and allowed him to pursue new opportunities in entertainment more freely.
He also encouraged those who can afford safe cosmetic procedures to consider them if it helps improve their confidence and self-esteem.
He said, “I decided to undergo nose surgery because I wasn’t comfortable with my appearance. I had lost several job opportunities in the past because of how I looked. If you can afford cosmetic surgery, do it. If it will make you feel better, go for it.”
