You can create beautiful and modest make-up looks without doing too much. The key to having a smooth makeup look is a good skin texture. Do not think of makeup as a means to cover up defects but as a way to accentuate your facial features and remove attention from the part you do not want people to focus on. Today, I will be sharing tips on how to create a demure makeup look.

Step 1:
First of all, in getting a demure makeup look, you need to set your face so that your foundation will sink into the skin and look well blended. If you’re a skincare girlie, you must prep your skin for what it is about to host. This also helps your skin to look moist and youthful. You can also wear a moisturizing facial mask for a few minutes before applying your foundation. Then, apply your primer.
After this, use your palette brush to apply your foundation to your skin. Ensure the foundation matches your skin tone. Give it a swipe- effect on your face, and make sure you only add little potions. This demure makeup look does not make your skin look caked but youthful. After applying the foundation to strategic positions, go in with your moist beauty blender to blend the foundation. Dab the product into your skin. You can spray setting spray on your face to retain the moisture.
Step 2
The next step is to apply concealer under your eyelids, down the bony part of your nose, and just above your lips. Leave for a few minutes then blend. Ensure that under your eyelids is properly blended to look lighter.
If you have a contour stick and you’re interested in slimming your nose size, draw a line at the sides of your nose down to the tip. Use the contour stick to draw a line right from the corner of your ears to the edge of your lips on both sides of your face. Apply contour to the sides of your forehead too, then blend.

For a demure makeup look, a cream blush is advisable to create a dewy look. Apply cream blush to your cheeks and blend. You can also use powder blush after applying powder to your face. To set your under-eye, you can use a white setting powder or a powder of a lighter shade than your skin tone. You can also apply the powder to the bony part of your nose.
Step 4
Now to your brows. This part is really simple. If your brows are already carved, just follow the shape. You just need to apply concealer at the arc of your brows and the corresponding part of the lower part. Use a flat brush and use your concealer to accentuate the shape. Do not conceal your whole brows, it makes it look blocked and rigid.

After this, you can work on your eyes. Apply powder to your deep crease and a nude eyeshadow of your choice. You can also add a similar shade of glittering eyeshadow to pop your eyeshadow. If you are a fan of eyeliner, you can just moderately line your eyes, with emphasis on the waterline. Ensure you use a non-smudgy mascara to lift your eyelashes.

After lining your lips, you can use a glittering highlighter to highlight your nose. You can also blend it with your powder to make your face pop. Then spray your setting spray on your face.
