Hudson-Odoi ruled out for season following surgery

Nottingham Forest have suffered a major setback with winger Callum Hudson-Odoi ruled out for the rest of the season.

Hudson-Odoi sustained the injury during a European clash against FC Porto. He was later absent in Forest’s dominant league win over Burnley over the weekend.

Following assessment, the club confirmed surgery was required for recovery. His return is now expected during pre-season preparations.

The 25-year-old shared his disappointment in a heartfelt social media message. “Surgery was successful but definitely not the way I wanted to end the season,” he wrote.

Forest face crucial fixtures without key attacking threat

Despite the setback, Hudson-Odoi remains optimistic about his recovery journey. “Hopefully I’ll be back stronger and better than before,” he added.
