Nigerian singer Fave has spoken on her disappointment after receiving a bouquet of flowers from an unknown admirer, saying she does not appreciate gifts from people who choose to hide their identity.
The singer shared her reaction on her official social media page in a video posted on Wednesday, August 5, 2026.
In the clip, she showed the bouquet and questioned why anyone would send flowers without including their name.
Fave explained that the flowers arrived with a handwritten note written on what she described as a plain sheet of paper instead of a proper greeting card.
She said the sender also failed to leave any clue that could reveal who was behind the gift.

According to the singer, the gesture did not make her curious because no one contacted her afterwards to ask if she had received the bouquet or to introduce themselves.

She said she had no interest in receiving flowers from anonymous admirers and believed that anyone sending such a gift should be open about their identity.
Fave added that if the sender had written a name, she would at least know who had sent the bouquet.
Instead, she was left with flowers from a stranger and no way of knowing who the admirer was.
The singer also questioned the reason for remaining anonymous after making the effort to send flowers.
She said the note that came with the bouquet did not look like a proper greeting card, making the entire gesture less meaningful to her.
She said: “Nobody should send me flowers if it’s not something worthy of my appreciation.
“I don’t even know who sent it. Nobody has reached out to ask if I received it. If they had written their name, I would at least know who sent it.
“It is not even an actual card, and you want to be anonymous? I actually do not want to know who you are.”
