Nigerian singer Burna Boy has denied claims that he was joined by a group of 10 people during a recent clash with DJ Tunez.
A video of the fight recently circulated online, drawing attention from fans and social media users.
DJ Tunez and his manager, Wizkid, had suggested in posts after the incident that Burna Boy attacked the DJ along with a team of men.
Tunez said he was hit from behind, which led to a physical struggle, and claimed he defended himself despite being outnumbered.
“This N*gga Burna Boy, all signs of weakness. First off, you hit me in the back of my head without me looking, that’s some sucka sht, my boy,” he wrote.

Burna Boy later addressed the situation during a livestream with fellow artist Shallipopi.
He stated that he only slapped DJ Tunez twice and insisted no one else was involved. He added that if others had joined, DJ Tunez would have suffered more serious injuries.

He said, “Shalli, no be 10 people touch that guy, na only me. I swear with my mama. If I dey lie, make Ogun carry my mama go anywhere wey Wizkid mama dey. Na only me two slap na im I give am.”
