Wizkid’s official disc jockey, DJ Tunez, has opened up about the biggest challenge he has encountered in his music career, noting that it is trying to bring peace between two of Afrobeats’ biggest stars, Wizkid and Davido.
During a recent livestream on X, the celebrated DJ confessed that uniting the music heavyweights has been his most difficult mission so far.
“My biggest challenge? Making Wizkid and Davido to love each other, that’s my biggest challenge,” he stated.

He further admitted that despite his efforts, getting the two singers to reconcile and remain friends has proven to be an uphill task.
Wizkid and Davido’s long-standing rivalry has often played out in public. In October 2024, the tension between them flared up again, with both exchanging insults on social media.
Industry figures such as singer Iyanya and talent manager Asa Asika have since appealed to the stars to bury the hatchet, work together, and contribute to the growth of Afrobeats on a global scale.
