Nigerian music icon Tiwa Savage has shared her hopes of expanding her family, revealing that she is looking forward to having more children in the future.
The award-winning singer disclosed this during a conversation with American podcaster, Joe Budden, where she explained that she has paused the process of freezing her eggs as she now feels ready to take the next step.
Speaking about her preference, the Afrobeats star made it clear that she would love to have sons.
In her words, “I want more children, boys. I have actually done egg freezing. I am just preparing. Like I said, I am not young. I am thinking about my age and want to get my eggs while they are still very healthy.”

According to Tiwa, her decision to make preparations early was influenced by her age, noting that she wants to ensure her eggs remain strong and healthy before welcoming more children.
Tiwa, a single mother, already has a son, Jamil, from her previous marriage to talent manager Tunji Balogun, popularly known as Tee Billz.
Despite her busy music career and international recognition, she has often spoken about the challenges of balancing motherhood with her role as one of Africa’s biggest Afrobeats stars.
