Record producer and musician Sarz has spoken on how his early mindset in the music industry affected his relationships and collaborations with other artistes.
In an interview with Fadar, he explained that when he first started making music, he had a strong ego and believed he was better than most people around him.
He said this attitude made him difficult to work with and limited his chances of teaming up with other artistes at the time.

Sarz added that as he grew in the industry, his thinking changed. He came to accept that he does not have all the answers and that he can learn from anyone, including newcomers.

He said this new mindset has helped him become more open, improve his craft, and work better with different people in the music scene.
“When I started making music, I was very hot-headed. I really wanted to impress everybody. I just thought I was the best thing to exist in music.
“But now I understand that I don’t know it all. I’m always willing to learn from anyone—even someone that just started yesterday,” he said.
