The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has presented a certificate of return to Minister of Labour, Simon Lalong as the victor of the Plateau South Senatorial election.
Lalong shared the certificate via his X (formerly known as Twitter) account on Thursday.
He wrote: “I am honored to have received the certificate of return today at the INEC Headquarters from National Commissioner Mohammed Haruna.”

This momentous occasion comes after the recent decision by an Appeal Court in Abuja to uphold the judgment of the tribunal, which initially declared Lalong as the winner of the Plateau South Senatorial election.
