The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced that candidates registered for the 2026 Mop-Up Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) can now access and print their examination notification slips.

The mop-up examination is scheduled to take place on Saturday, June 13, 2026.

The announcement was made in a statement issued by JAMB’s spokesperson, Fabian Benjamin, who explained that the notification slip contains key information candidates need before the examination.

According to the board, the mop-up examination is intended for candidates who were unable to participate in the earlier UTME due to technical issues, as well as those whose biometric verification could not be successfully completed during the main examination.

“Eligible candidates are advised to visit the Board’s website and click on ‘Print 2026 Mop-Up UTME Slip’ to access and print their slips.

“Candidates are strongly advised to print their slips well ahead of the examination date and familiarise themselves with their examination centres to avoid last-minute difficulties,” the statement added.

JAMB further noted that the exercise serves as the last opportunity for qualified candidates to take part in the 2026 UTME, stressing that there will be no additional examination after the mop-up exercise.

The board therefore encouraged all affected candidates to make use of the opportunity and prepare adequately for the examination.
