Juventus have sacked Italian manager Massimiliano Allegri following the team’s Coppa Italia victory on Wednesday.
Allegri officially parted ways with the Old Lady on Friday two days after Juve’s record-extending 15th Coppa Italia triumph.
In a statement confirming Allegri’s dismissal, Juventus said they have sacked the 56-year-old for ācertain behaviour during and after the Italian Cup final that the club deemed incompatible with its valuesā.

During the cup final, Allegri allowed his emotions and rage to take over him. He was sent off in the final minutes of the encounter against Atalanta as well as ranting at match officials. Dusan Vlahovic’s early strike was all the Old Lady needed to defeat La Dea.
He then waved away club sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli during the post-match celebrations.
Allegri’s accusations
Allegri has been accused of allegedly threatening and manhandling the chief editor of newspaper Tuttosport prior to the post-match press conference.
As it stands, rumours are circulating that Juventus will likely replace Allegri with Bologna coach Thiago Motta in the summer.
Juve have now been forced to make public their decision with two games of the Serie A season to spare.
Bianconeri currently occupy fourth spot in the Serie A table. They have accrued just 15 points in their last 15 league outings. The team is set to take on Bologna on Monday night, with the both clubs level on 67 points.
Meanwhile, the Italian Football Federationās disciplinary tribunal has launched an investigation into Allegri. On Thursday, he was slapped with an automatic two-match ban in the cup. This is for his straight red card as he could also receive further punishment.
