Nollywood actor and filmmaker, Kunle Afod, has openly criticised Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, over what he described as the deteriorating condition of basic infrastructure in Ose Local Government Area.
According to reports, Afod had spent several weeks appealing to the state government to address the challenges facing residents. However, on Monday evening, he expressed frustration over what he perceived as continued silence from the authorities.
The actor highlighted the poor condition of hospitals, schools, and roads in the area, stressing that the situation has severely affected the daily lives of the people.
He also lamented the prolonged lack of electricity in some communities, noting that while certain areas have been without power for about 20 years, Idoani has remained in darkness for eight years.

โGovernor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, you think I will keep quiet if you ignore my plea for Ose Local Government. No, Iโm not keeping quiet. Iโm calling again on the Chairman of Ose Local Government, Hon CK Ojo, letโs watch this video together. This is CAC nursery and primary school in Idoani, look at another school under the same Ose LGA.
โAll the teachers have run away, all the children in these communities no longer attend school. Thereโs no accessible road to the communities, and you are at peace managing the resources of the state poorly the way you like. Thereโs no accessible road to all the communities in Ose LG.

โ The health system is totally bad, they have closed down all the general hospitals in Idoani. Thereโs no commercial bank in this area again. Governor Aiyedatiwa call the Chairman, House of Rep representatives, those in House of Assembly and the Senator in that constituency and work with them. How long will Ose Local Government continue like this?, he asked.
