The Lagos State Government, through the Ministry of Establishments and Training, has commenced a two-day training programme aimed at enhancing productivity and integrity among management staff in the state civil service.
The training, themed “Enhancing Productivity and Integrity in the Smart City,” is being held at the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Alausa, Ikeja.
It brings together officers from various cadres to equip them with essential skills needed to drive efficiency in governance.
Declaring the programme open, the Permanent Secretary of the ministry, Olubusola Abidakun—represented by the Director of Training, Modupe Animashaun—highlighted the significance of the initiative.

She noted that beyond instructional learning, the training seeks to instill a culture of integrity and enhance the effectiveness of officers in fulfilling Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s development agenda.
Abidakun further stressed that integrity is a cornerstone of any smart city initiative, adding that the state government remains committed to ensuring that civil servants are well-equipped to meet evolving governance demands.
The initiative aligns with Lagos State’s broader vision of fostering transparency, accountability, and excellence in public service.
