Super Falcons coach Justin Madugu has unveiled his final squad for WAFCON 2026 in Morocco.
The 25-player list features a strong core from the title-winning 2024 campaign. It was officially announced via the team’s verified social media platform.
Star names like Asisat Oshoala, Chiamaka Nnadozie, and Rasheedat Ajibade headline the squad while experienced defenders and midfield anchors also retained their spots.
Notably, Ashleigh Plumptre misses out due to injury concerns with her absence being a major defensive setback for the team.
Super Falcons target title defense and World Cup qualification
Nigeria has been drawn in Group C alongside Egypt, Zambia, and Malawi. All matches will be played in Rabat.
The Falcons begin their campaign against Malawi on July 28. They will then face Zambia before concluding group play against Egypt.
