Mavin Records boss, Michael Collins Ajereh popularly known as Don Jazzy, has announced the signing of a new artiste, LOVN, to the label’s growing roster of Afrobeats talents.
The announcement was made through Don Jazzy’s official social media account, where he shared details about the artiste’s journey, consistency, and readiness for the industry.
Don Jazzy is well known for identifying raw talents early and turning them into stars. Over the years, Mavin Records has signed and developed artistes such as Ayra Starr and Rema , both of whom have achieved international success.
The label’s roster today also includes established and rising acts like Ladipoe, Johnny Drille, Crayon, Magixx, Boy Spyce, Bayanni, Lifesize Teddy and DJ Big N.
He noted that LOVN represents the kind of emerging artist the label intends to groom through the Mavin Academy, which he described as “filled with many future Afrobeats superstars.”
In his statement, the music executive emphasized the importance of rising musicians showcasing their talent consistently on social media to stand out in a highly competitive content space.
