Popular Nollywood actress Moyo Lawal is facing renewed online backlash after a troll resurfaced a screenshot from her previously leaked sex tape.
The image was shared by the troll on the microblogging platform X (formerly Twitter) with the caption, “Internet never forgets.”
In response, the 37-year-old actress took to the same platform on Tuesday to express her frustration and emotional exhaustion. She tweeted:
“So I should off myself because my ex was silly? Tell me exactly what you people want from me, so I can just do it and rest.”

Her statement sparked concern among her followers, many of whom rushed to show support and encourage her to stay strong.
The incident followed a tweet by Moyo in which she shared a playful post about food, travel, and hotel stays. The tweet included a sultry photo of her emerging from a swimming pool in a revealing outfit, along with the caption:
“If I hear piiim… come swim with me.”
What was initially taken as a lighthearted post has now drawn deeper public attention in light of her emotionally charged reaction.
It will be recalled that in September 2023, Moyo Lawal was at the center of controversy when a private sex tape involving her and her former fiancé was leaked online, igniting widespread discussion.
At the time, Moyo explained that the video was recorded during her relationship with a man she intended to marry. She described the leak as a serious betrayal of trust and a grave invasion of her privacy.
