Nigerian rapper and singer Okafor Uchenna Victor, popularly known as Mr Real, has expressed worry over the rising insecurity in the country after experiencing a troubling dream he described as unusually realistic.

In a message shared on his social media platforms, the artiste said he recently dreamt that armed bandits invaded Lagos, abducting people from nightclubs and office buildings. He explained that the intensity of the dream left him disturbed.

“My mind has been unsettled since yesterday because of the things I’ve been seeing. I dreamt that bandits entered Lagos. In that dream, they were taking people from clubs and from offices. Since I started having these dreams, about 70% of them have come to pass,” he wrote.

Mr Real noted that his concern stems from the fact that many of his previous dreams had eventually come true. He stressed that he was not attempting to create panic but believed it was important for residents to stay alert given the current security situation.

His warning comes shortly after the Aare Ona Kakanfo of Yorubaland, Gani Adams, claimed that armed groups had already infiltrated several South-West communities and were planning coordinated attacks. According to Adams, the targeted states include Oyo, Ekiti, Ondo, and Lagos.

Mr Real urged Lagos residents to remain vigilant as security concerns continue to heighten across the region.
