The Customs Area Controller (CAC) of the Kirikiri Lighter Terminal Command, Comptroller Joy Edelduok, has reiterated the Nigeria Customs Service’s (NCS) unwavering dedication to transparency and ethical conduct.
This commitment was reaffirmed during a series of high-level visits aimed at strengthening inter-agency cooperation.
Edelduok paid a courtesy visit to the Lagos Office of the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC), where she was received by the Resident Anti-Corruption Commissioner, Alexander Chukwurah.
Edelduok emphasised that integrity is a core principle under the leadership of the Comptroller-General of Customs, Adewale Adeniyi.
She stressed the necessity of collaboration with the ICPC to foster discipline and ethical behavior among customs officers, stating that the Command is committed to working closely with the anti-graft agency to reinforce its internal anti-corruption mechanisms.

The ICPC, through its Resident Anti-Corruption Commissioner, welcomed the initiative and pledged continued support for promoting integrity in public service.
In a related development, Edelduok also hosted the Assistant Comptroller-General (ACG) of the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS), Agboje Jude, who visited the Command to reinforce inter-agency collaboration.
Edelduok expressed appreciation for the visit, calling it “a reflection of mutual respect and shared commitment to national security, discipline, and integrity in public service.”
She assured the NCoS delegation that her Command is fully aligned with the CGC’s vision of enhanced cooperation, professionalism, and transparency across all Customs operations.
Jude commended Edelduok’s leadership, noting the high level of discipline demonstrated by officers of the Kirikiri Lighter Terminal Command.
He assured that the NCoS would continue to collaborate closely with the NCS to achieve their shared national objectives.
