The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has dismissed reports claiming that it intends to investigate Nollywood actress Regina Daniels’ brother, Samuel Ojeogwu, popularly known as Sammy West, over alleged involvement in drug-related issues.
The clarification came after public speculation linking Sammy to drug allegations surfaced amid the ongoing dispute between Regina Daniels and her estranged husband, Ned Nwoko.
The actress had recently spoken about drug use while accusing her husband of manipulating her through forced drug administration and control.
In reaction, Nwoko reportedly blamed Regina’s brother and some Nollywood friends for influencing her negatively and introducing her to drugs.

The NDLEA, however, through its Director of Media and Advocacy, Femi Babafemi, stated that there is no ongoing or planned investigation against Sammy or any member of the Daniels family regarding the matter.
Sammy West was recently granted bail after being detained on allegations of criminal conspiracy, trespass, assault, intimidation, theft, and cyberbullying.
