NYSC sets June 10 for Batch ‘B’ orientation

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has announced that the Batch ‘B’ Stream I Orientation Course will commence on Wednesday, June 10, with the reception and registration of prospective corps members across the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory. 

‎According to a statement posted on it official page, registration will run until midnight of Friday, June 12, while the Swearing‑in Ceremony for mobilized graduates will hold on the same day. 

‎The Scheme further disclosed that the orientation exercise will end on Tuesday, June 30, marking the conclusion of the first stream of the Batch ‘B’ service year. 

‎NYSC management wished prospective corps members safe journeys to their various orientation camps nationwide, while reiterating its warning against night travel.

‎In a follow‑up advisory, the Scheme emphasized that corps members should break their journeys once it is 6:00 p.m., and spend the night at any available Corps Members’ Lodge, military formation, police station/outpost, or palace of a traditional ruler, before continuing the following morning. 

‎The management stressed that the safety of prospective corps members remains paramount and urged strict compliance with the travel advisory to ensure a hitch‑free orientation exercise.
