The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has announced that the Batch ‘B’ Stream I Orientation Course will commence on Wednesday, June 10, with the reception and registration of prospective corps members across the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
According to a statement posted on it official page, registration will run until midnight of Friday, June 12, while the Swearing‑in Ceremony for mobilized graduates will hold on the same day.
The Scheme further disclosed that the orientation exercise will end on Tuesday, June 30, marking the conclusion of the first stream of the Batch ‘B’ service year.
NYSC management wished prospective corps members safe journeys to their various orientation camps nationwide, while reiterating its warning against night travel.

In a follow‑up advisory, the Scheme emphasized that corps members should break their journeys once it is 6:00 p.m., and spend the night at any available Corps Members’ Lodge, military formation, police station/outpost, or palace of a traditional ruler, before continuing the following morning.
The management stressed that the safety of prospective corps members remains paramount and urged strict compliance with the travel advisory to ensure a hitch‑free orientation exercise.
