Italian giants AC Milan have officially confirmed the transfer of new signing Samuel Chukwueze from Spanish side Villarreal.
The announcement was made on Milan’s official Twitter handle @acmilan on Thursday.
The Nigerian forward joins the Rossoneri until 2028 after putting pen to paper on a five-year contract. The deal is reported to be worth ā¬28m plus add-ons.

“AC Milan is delighted to announce the signing of Samuel Chimerenka Chukwueze from Villarreal CF. The Nigerian forward has signed for the Rossoneri until 30 June 2028,” a statement on Milan’s official website read.
Chukwueze was born in Umuahia, Nigeria on 22 May 1999. He came through the Diamond Football Academy Youth Sector before teaming up with Villarreal in 2017.
While with Villarreal’s B team, he played 20 times and scored four goals before his debut with the senior team in September 2018.
The 24-year-old went on to appear 207 times for the Yellow Submarines, scoring 37 goals, and winning 1 Europa League. Chukwueze has been capped 28 times for his national team Nigeria and scored four goals.
