Nollywood actress Peggy Ovire has addressed rumours linking her romantically with actor Kachi Nnochiri.
The speculation surfaced weeks after news of her split from her husband, Fredrick Leonard. Earlier in the year, observers had noticed that the actress removed Leonard’s name from her social media bio, fuelling separation talks.
The latest buzz began after a video from a recent event showed Peggy and Kachi arriving together in coordinated outfits. In the clip, the actor was seen holding her arm as they made their way into the venue.

Responding to the reactions via Instagram, Peggy dismissed the romance claims and clarified her colleague’s relationship status. She explained that there was nothing intimate about the gesture captured in the video.
“Kachi is happily married, una don start. He was helping me because of my heels.”
