Nigerian rapper Speed Darlington has taken a swipe at fellow singer Portable, arguing that the latter’s claimed wealth is not evident in his appearance.
The ‘Bangdadadang’ crooner made the remark during a recent livestream with Peller, where he explained why he has chosen not to upload his music to the streaming platform, Audiomack.
During the session, the host encouraged him to follow Portable’s example by putting his songs on the platform. However, Speed Darlington declined, insisting that he does not believe there is real financial gain from using the app.

“I can’t see any proof of money on Portable… Anyone who wants to listen to my music must pay for it,” he added.
His comments come weeks after Portable publicly appealed to colleagues, particularly music executive Don Jazzy, for support in digital promotion. The singer had complained about low earnings from streaming platforms despite claiming that fans across the world regularly stream his songs.
