Florentino Perez and Enrique Riquelme have launched conflicting sporting visions for the future governance of Real Madrid ahead of the upcoming institutional presidential elections.
Incumbent president Perez has arranged the return of Jose Mourinho to manage the first team. The current chief has also secured deals for Ibrahima Konate, Denzel Dumfries, and Nico Paz. Furthermore, Perez is about to finalise a hundred and fifty million euro transfer for winger Michael Olise.
Contender Riquelme countered with a proposal centered on former Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp. However, Klopp’s agent Marc Kosicke publicly rejected the approach via German media outlets today. Kosicke stated that Klopp remains fully committed to his global role at Red Bull.
Consequently, Riquelme has pivotally adjusted his campaign strategy to pursue alternative sporting management. The challenger promised to appoint club legend Raul Gonzalez Blanco as sporting director instead.

Additionally, former captains Iker Casillas and Fernando Hierro will assume major institutional roles. Riquelme also announced guaranteed agreements to sign Erling Haaland and midfielder Rodri.
Club members will cast their decisive votes to select the next president this Sunday.
