Angry residents in Jos, the capital of Plateau State, took to the streets early Monday to protest the ongoing killings in several communities.

The protest started around the Fawvwei Junction, where large crowds gathered, blocking roads and causing serious traffic issues.

The people behind the protest included Christian leaders and other concerned residents who were fed up with the recent violence.

Many of them carried placards as they marched toward the Rayfield Government House.

They demanded an end to the attacks that have claimed the lives of over 100 people in Bokkos and Bassa Local Government Areas within the last two weeks.

Most of the attackers are believed to be armed men suspected to be Fulani militants.

The protesters said they were tired of living in fear and could no longer keep quiet while their communities were being attacked.

They called on the government to take action before the situation gets worse.

Many of them also urged security agencies to do more to protect lives and properties in the state.

This latest protest shows the rising anger among the people who feel abandoned and unsafe in their homes.
