Cristiano Ronaldo has scored his 970th career goal. Al-Nassr have won their 20th consecutive match. The streak is the longest in the club’s history.
Ronaldo headed home in the 76th minute of a 2-0 victory over Al-Ahli on Wednesday. The goal was his 25th of the Saudi Pro League season. It secured three more points for the league leaders.
Al-Nassr now sit eight points clear of second-placed Al-Hilal with four games remaining. They need two more wins to clinch the Saudi Pro League title.
The winning streak spans 20 matches across all competitions. Al-Nassr have scored 53 goals during this run. They have conceded just seven.

They are also one win away from the AFC Champions League Two final. They face Japan’s Gamba Osaka in the semi-final second leg. Al-Nassr won the first leg 5-1.
Ronaldo turns 42 in August. He shows no signs of slowing down. His career tally now stands at 970 goals. The next milestone is 1,000.
