Veteran actor Saidi Balogun has expressed grief over the passing of his former mother-in-law, the mother of actress Faithia Williams.
He described her as a caring parent and grandmother, noting that her death came as a shock.
Balogun shared that it is often hard to accept the loss of people who bring positivity into lives.
He remembered her as a supportive figure within the family and prayed for her peace in the afterlife.

Faithia Williams confirmed her mother’s death on Monday, revealing that she passed away on Saturday, February 7, a day before her birthday celebration in Lagos.
The actress explained that her birthday fell on Thursday, February 5, but she held the party on Sunday.
Family members had kept the news from her so she could enjoy the celebration.
Williams described her mother as an important part of her life and said the reality of her passing has yet to fully sink in.
She asked for prayers and support while the family makes private arrangements, with burial details to be shared later.
Several Nollywood stars, including Funke Akindele, Pasuma, Kazim Adeoti, Wumi Ajiboye, Regina Chukwu, Fausat Balogun, Shaffy Bello, and MC Oluomo, attended her birthday event.
