Mohamed Salah has been crowned the 2024–25 Premier League Player of the Season, marking the Egyptian’s second triumph in the prestigious award.
He first claimed the honour in the 2017–18 campaign, but this season’s brilliance stands as one of his most dominant campaigns yet.
Salah has been at the heart of Liverpool’s title-winning charge under new manager Arne Slot. As the Reds sealed the championship with four games to spare, Salah’s individual numbers soared – he has registered 28 goals and 18 assists ahead of the final matchday.

Although many expected the 31-year-old to slow down, Salah proved otherwise. He maintained elite form throughout the campaign.

His combination of clinical finishing and playmaking has not only delivered points but also dazzled supporters across the league.
Moreover, Salah’s statistics place him on track to finish both as the league’s top scorer and most prolific creator. It’s rare for any player to lead both charts in a single season, but Salah has made it look routine.
Despite strong competition for the award from teammates Ryan Gravenberch and Virgil van Dijk, as well as stars like Declan Rice and Alexander Isak, the Egyptian’s dominance left little doubt in the minds of voters.
Indeed, his influence extended beyond goals and assists. Time and again, Salah delivered in key moments, whether by unlocking stubborn defences or inspiring comebacks. Consequently, he became the driving force behind Liverpool’s resurgence.
