Seun Ogunsakin has advanced to the second round of the J300 event in Cairo, defeating Botswana’s Ntungamili Raguin 4-6, 6-1, 6-4 in his second-ever J300 first-round win.
The Nigerian teenager rallied from a set down to claim victory, marking his second win against the Australian Open junior competitor in just three days. Ogunsakin had previously beaten Raguin in the final of the J200 Africa Regional Championship on Saturday.
Ogunsakin will now face No. 3 seed Tito Chavez of Spain in the second round, representing a step up in competition.

The J300 level is the second-highest tier in junior tennis, and Ogunsakin’s back‑to‑back wins over a quality opponent show his rapid development following his rise to No. 64 in the world junior rankings.
