Oklahoma City Thunder staged a dramatic late comeback to overpower the Indiana Pacers 111-104 in Game Four of the NBA Finals, levelling the best-of-seven series at 2-2.
Despite trailing by seven points heading into the decisive fourth quarter, the Thunder found a way to wrest control with a stunning 31-17 run.
Crucially, the final moments swung heavily in Oklahoma’s favour as they closed with a commanding 12-1 surge over the last three minutes. Because of this relentless push, the Pacers saw their hard-fought lead slip away under immense pressure.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander delivered another masterful performance, pouring in 35 points while sinking all 10 of his free-throw attempts. He also scored 15 of the Thunder’s last 16 points. These included key baskets down the stretch that turned the game on its head.

Significantly, Thunder coach Mark Daigneault made a bold tactical decision by resting Gilgeous-Alexander late in the third quarter rather than at his usual break early in the fourth. This move paid off handsomely, as the MVP returned fresh to drive Oklahoma’s explosive finish.
Supporting the charge, Jalen Williams contributed 27 points and grabbed seven rebounds. Alex Caruso also impressed from the bench with a 20-point haul. Their collective impact kept the Thunder within striking distance before Gilgeous-Alexander’s late heroics sealed the comeback.
On the other side, Pascal Siakam led Indiana’s scoring with 20 points and Tyrese Haliburton added 18. However, the Pacers struggled to execute in the clutch moments, missing easy opportunities as pressure mounted, while Oklahoma ruthlessly capitalised.
“We simply didn’t execute at the end,” admitted Siakam post-game. “We missed the shots we should have made, but they made theirs when it mattered.”
With the series levelled, attention shifts back to Oklahoma City for Game Five at the Paycom Center on Monday night.
