Tinubu awards OON, $100,000, apartments to each Super Falcons player

President Bola Tinubu has conferred the prestigious national title of Officer of the Order of the Niger (OON) on members of Nigeria’s Super Falcons and their technical crew, following their recent WAFCON triumph.

As part of the presidential reward, each player and member of the coaching staff will receive a three-bedroom apartment located at the Renewed Hope Estate in Abuja.

In addition to the national honour and housing gift, President Tinubu also approved a cash reward equivalent to $100,000 for each of the 24 players. The 11-man technical crew is set to receive $50,000 each.

The President’s gesture comes as a celebration of the team’s excellence and determination on the continental stage.
