Tinubu departs for President Mahamat Déby inauguration Thursday

President Bola Tinubu will depart Abuja on Thursday for N’Djamena, the Republic of Chad, to attend the inauguration of President Mahamat Déby.

This was disclosed in a statement released to the press by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale.

President Déby’s inauguration follows his recent declaration as the winner of Chad’s presidential election earlier this month, confirmed by the Constitutional Court.

President Tinubu will be accompanied by senior government officials and will return after the ceremony.
