Tinubu emerges winner of 2023 presidential election

Bola Ahmed Tinubu has been declared the winner of the 2023 presidential election.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) made the announcement of the 2023 presidential election on Wednesday, March 1.

The electoral body announced the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, as the winner of last Saturdayā€™s polls.

Tinubu secured a total of 8,794,726 votes, while Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) finished in second place with 6,984,520 votes.

Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP) came third with 6,101,533 votes.
