President Bola Tinubu has extended warm Eid-el-Fitr greetings to Muslims across Nigeria, celebrating the successful conclusion of the holy month of Ramadan.
In a statement released by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the President said the end of the fast should inspire renewed patriotism and a commitment to serving humanity.
Reflecting on the season’s spiritual significance, Tinubu encouraged Nigerians to carry the values learned during Ramadan into their everyday lives.
He highlighted key virtues critical to national progress, placing the common good above personal interest, staying resilient amid national challenges, and showing empathy to all fellow citizens.

“We have much to learn from the noble lessons of Ramadan,” the President said.
“Let us continue to uphold the virtues of piety, selflessness, perseverance, kindness, and compassion beyond this period.”
The President also called on the Muslim faithful to extend acts of charity to the needy, irrespective of religion, stressing that such gestures strengthen national unity.

He further urged Islamic leaders to use the festive period to pray for Nigeria, seeking lasting peace and economic prosperity for all.
