Tinubu mourns former NLC President, Ali Chiroma

President Bola Tinubu has expressed his condolences to the family of Comrade Ali Chiroma following the passing of the esteemed elder statesman.

Comrade Chiroma, a former President of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) who held various roles within the trade union hierarchy and left a significant legacy.

In a statement issued by Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, the President conveyed his sympathies to the Chiroma family, the organided labour community, and all those affected by this profound loss.

Reflecting on the contributions of the late labour leader during challenging times in the nation’s history, President Tinubu acknowledged Comrade Chiroma’s steadfast commitment to the autonomy of the NLC and his unwavering advocacy for the marginalised.

The President offers prayers to Allah for the peaceful repose of the departed soul, while extending his heartfelt thoughts and prayers to the family of the late elder statesman during this period of mourning.
