Excitement is building in the Super Eagles camp as twenty players have already landed in London ahead of the much-anticipated Unity Cup 2025.

Leading the early arrivals is veteran forward Ahmed Musa, whose presence continues to inspire both fans and teammates. Alongside him are established stars like Kelechi Iheanacho, Wilfred Ndidi, and Moses Simon.

Although the full team is yet to assemble, the bulk of the roster is already in place. Defenders like Semi Ajayi and Felix Agu have checked in, while midfielders such as Frank Onyeka and Nathan Tella are also in London for the tournament.

Notably, Rangers forward Cyriel Dessers, who is also in camp, will be eager to lead the attack.

Interestingly, several fresh faces have joined the squad. The likes of Waliu Ojetoye – captain of NPFL side Ikorodu City FC, Niger Tornadoes midfielder Papa Daniel Mustapha, and Plateau United forward Abubakar Adamu are among the emerging names hoping to seize their opportunity in London.

Meanwhile, a few more are expected to link up with the team in the coming days. Goalkeepers Stanley Nwabali, Maduka Okoye, and Amas Obasogie are still being awaited. Also on the list of players still expected are attacking threats Samuel Chukwueze, Tolu Arokodare, and Chrisantus Uche.

Notable absentees from the tournament for Nigeria are Victor Osimhen and reigning Africa Footballer of the Year Ademola Lookman.

Other participating countries in the tournament are Jamaica, Trinidad & Tobago, and West African neighbours Ghana.

The Unity Cup 2025 offers a perfect platform to test new tactics, assess rising stars, and build chemistry ahead of more competitive fixtures later in the year.

All eyes will now be on the remaining players to join up swiftly, as the countdown continues and training intensifies.
