US Court declares Tinubu’s involvement in drug trafficking.

It is no secret that the reputation of APC presidential candidate Bola Ahmed Tinubu as a law-abiding man has been somewhat clouded by scandal.

The Inspector General of Police received a letter from the US Consulate in Lagos in 2003 exonerating him of any criminal charges.

But 19 years have passed, and the US authorities have just made documents public that support the claim that Tinubu was convicted of drug-related offences in the US.

The US court, district of Illinois, made these documents available to the public on August 10, 2022. However, Peoples’ Gazette did not make it widely known until Tuesday, November 8th.

Another sign of frustration from the opposition parties.

The APC followers appear to believe that “it is dead as a dodo” because these documents appear to be the same as those that were distributed in 2003.

Festus Keyamo, a spokesman for Tinubu, asserted that this was simply a “sign of frustration” on the part of the opposition. “They are trying to resurrect a horse that has been dead and buried, for which a media outlet publicly apologized in 2016 when they tried to use the story,” he said.

Many Nigerians are uneasy about the myriad of shadows that hang over this specific presidential contender. People are adamant that he should withdraw as a result.

Tinubu seems to be lacking verifiable information. There appears to be a lack of honesty in several areas, including his age, educational background, and moral character.

The APC party has clearly rejected the  validity of such news, thus it is difficult for us to determine if it is real or not.

We also find it difficult to comprehend why an allegedly fake document would be kept in the United States of America court.
