Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has reacted to the tension between Toyin Abraham and Funke Akindele following a public incident at her movie premiere.
The situation started after Funke Akindele appeared to ignore Toyin Abraham during the event held on Sunday.
The moment quickly spread online and drew reactions from fans, many of whom asked Iyabo Ojo to step in since she had previously helped both actresses settle their differences.
In her response shared on Instagram, Iyabo explained that she had once brought both women together to make peace.
She said the agreement they reached included a rule that neither of them should take their issues to social media. Instead, they were expected to handle any disagreements privately.
Iyabo then pointed to what led to the latest problem. She said Toyin Abraham had raised concerns about her movie showing in cinemas, suggesting that someone was working against her.

After that, some fans began to accuse Funke Akindele, which led to fresh tension between the two actresses.
She recalled how she had gone to great lengths in the past to make peace between them.
According to her, she pleaded with both sides and pushed for reconciliation until they agreed to settle their issues.
Their efforts at that time led to a period where they were seen interacting peacefully in public.
Despite her past involvement, Iyabo made it clear that she does not want to be part of the matter again.
She expressed her frustration and asked people to respect her decision to stay out of the ongoing dispute.
She wrote: “Unfortunately, Toyin made some complaints about her movie in cinemas claiming some people or person was trying to sabotage her, some fans pointed accusing fingers towards Funke, that sparked up a fresh beef.
“I tried my very best to settle both of them, cried, knelt down, begged both parties to embrace peace which they both later did, reason you saw them a few months ago interacting with one another. I honestly don’t want to get involved anymore. Please, you all should respect that.”
