Nollywood actress Angela Okorie has explained why she decided to burn the outfit she wore to the burial of late actor Alex Ekubo.
The actress disclosed this in a post shared on her official Instagram page, where she spoke about a belief she learned from her godmother regarding clothes worn to burial ceremonies.
According to Okorie, she was advised that such outfits should not be kept after attending a funeral and should instead be destroyed.

“This is the outfit I wore to Alex’s burial. My Godmother said it is not good to have the cloth you wore to a burial around you; you burn them. So family and friends take note. I felt I should share this information.
“May the Lord keep and bless us with long life. Amen. Chai,” she stated.
