Why most Nigerian politicians end up dying like dogs abroad – Jesse Jagz

Popular singer and rapper Jesse Jagz Abaga has voiced his frustrations over Nigeria’s deepening economic hardship and rising insecurity.

The ‘Bad Girl’ crooner said he is baffled by the high levels of corruption and mismanagement among the country’s political class.

He argued that the failure of politicians to provide basic amenities, including medical facilities, explains why many end up “dying like dogs” in foreign hospitals.

On his X handle, he wrote, “Imagine getting the chance to change your people’s future, and all you do is steal the money and ship it abroad.

“I swear I don’t understand the logic of these Nigerian politicians. That’s why most of them end up dying like dogs in hospitals abroad!”

Jesse Jagz further claimed that Nigerian politicians now serve the interests of foreign governments that installed them as “puppets,” rather than the citizens they are meant to represent.

He also alleged that the cost of living in Nigeria worsened after former United States President Barack Obama reportedly helped the All Progressives Congress (APC) seize power.

The rapper added, “Today’s politicians are no different from the collaborators who helped colonize us, or the ones who sold their own brothers and sisters into slavery.

“I was here, alive, watching when Obama and his crew backed Buhari — and life has only gotten worse since.”
