They previously planned a grand reunion at Wimbledon before Serena suffered an unfortunate knee injury. That setback occurred during her singles comeback clash against Australian prospect Maya Joint.
This elite WTA 1000 tournament will run continuously from August 11 through August 23 in Ohio. Notably, it marks their first joint doubles appearance since competing at the 2022 US Open.
