DJ Tunez, the personal disc jockey to Nigerian music star Wizkid, has played down reports of a deep rivalry between his boss and fellow Afrobeats heavyweight Davido, saying the tension is often exaggerated online.
Speaking during an appearance on the Moni Talks podcast, Tunez suggested that Wizkid holds Davido in high regard and is open to collaborating with him, including the possibility of going on tour together.
“Wizkid has big love for Davido. I am just hoping we could go on tour together -Starboy and 30BG. That is all we need right now,” he said.

According to DJ Tunez, a collaboration between both artistes would be a major boost for the global growth of Afrobeats.
Speculation about a joint tour is not new, as Wizkid has previously hinted at touring with Davido, while Davido has also, at different times, expressed his willingness to share the stage with Wizkid.
