Wizkid says ‘he has enough music to retire’


Nigerian recording artiste and Afrobeat superstar, Ayodeji Balogun who is better known as Wizkid on Sunday, July 16 turned 33.

The singer-songwriter was celebrated by both his colleagues in the entertainment industry and his fans across the globe.

Wizkid has mentioned that he has more than enough music to retire.

The singer-songwriter had an interview with Capital Extra’s Manny Norte where he spoke extensively about his music career.

The interviewer had said the last time they met, the Starboy honcho told him that he “got enough music to retire.”

Wizkid reckoned: “Come on, my brother. And we are still recording music everyday [laughs]. So, imagine how much music I have now.”

The ‘Ojuelegba’ crooner also hinted that his sixth studio album is on the way.

He said, “I got a new album ready, bro. New Wiz’s album. I’m dropping a new song next week. In a couple of days, mehn.”
