Musk was said to have returned the blue ticks for free days after removing them.
NRTC had earlier reported that many important people on Twitter lost their ticks as the final date for removing legacy blue checks elapsed on April 20, 2023.
This was a result of the non-payment of the $8 monthly verification subscription fee announced by Musk.
