27-year-old Nigerian chef, Hilda Baci is looking to join the elongating list of individuals in the Guinness World Record history book.
The multi-talented chef has continued to inspire Nigerian youths since she commenced her historic culinary journey on Thursday, May 11. She will be looking to make history on Monday, May 15.
Specifically, Hilda is seeking to break the Guinness World Record for cooking held by an Indian chef Lata Tandon, who for 87 hours and 45 minutes non-stop in 2019.
The Guinness Book of Records is a reference book that contains human and natural world records.
It was first published in 1955 by the Guinness Brewery in Ireland and has since become one of the worldās most well-known and frequently read reference books.

Individuals or groups must submit proof to the Guinness World Records team and go through a verification process to qualify for a world record listing.
Here is a list of Nigerians that have broken the Guinness World Records in recent times:
- Gbenga Ezekiel
He holds the record for the most skips in a minute on one leg. The record was set in February 2023.
Ezekiel recorded 265 skips in his attempt, beating the previous record of 262 skips, which was held by Bangladeshās Rasel Islam, making history as the first athlete at the Ondo State Sports Complex in Akure.
2. Rema
Sensational Nigerian recording artiste, Rema whose real name is Divine Ikubor holds the for āCalm Downā as the first No.1 Hit on The Official MENA Chart, the worldās first regional streaming chart. News Round The Clock reported this earlier in the month of May.
3. Bose Omolayo
Bose Omolayo became the heaviest para-power lift by a female in the -79 kg category with 144 kg. She set the record in December 2021.
4. Chukwuebuka Ezugha and Victor Richard Kipo
The duo had the most consecutive football passes with the soles (team of two). The record was attained in December 2021.
5. Folashade Oluwafemiayo
In August 2021, Oluwafemiayo established a new Paralympics record by lifting 152kg.
6. Chinonso Eche
Eche has the most football headers in a prone position in one minute, which is 23. The record was set in October 2021.
7. Vincent Okezie
The most consecutive backward handsprings with a football (soccer ball) between the legs. He set the record in March 2022.
8. Haruna Abdulazeez
The most American football touches with the feet in one minute. The record was set in October 2020.
9. Peter Aho
Record for six wickets for five runs in 3.4 overs against Sierra Leone. The record was set in October 2021.
10. Bayo Omoboriowo
In September 2021, Bayo created the largest photo book, which was measured at 60.84 mĀ² (654 ftĀ² 87 inĀ²).
