Big Brother Naija Season 11 housemate Martins Iyeh marked his 30th birthday with an emotional celebration inside the house as his fellow contestants organised a surprise event that left him deeply touched.
The celebration became even more memorable after Mercedes entertained him with a dance performance while the other housemates cheered.
The birthday event took place inside the Big Brother Naija house, where the contestants decorated the lounge with balloons, a cake and other party items before gathering to sing for Martins.
The model later revealed that it was the first time in his life he had ever enjoyed such a birthday celebration.
Mercedes, who had earlier told the housemates that she sings in a church choir during the day and works as a pole dancer at night, dressed in a performance costume and gave Martins a dance display that entertained everyone in the house.

The performance drew laughter and applause from the other contestants as they joined in celebrating his special day.
After the celebration, Martins opened up during a conversation with fellow housemate Temi.
He said he had never received balloons or a birthday cake before and was surprised by the amount of care shown to him by people he had only known for a short time.

He explained that being surrounded by 24 people who celebrated him made him feel loved in a way he had not experienced before and described the moment as one he would never forget.
Temi responded by saying she was happy Martins was part of the house and hoped he truly felt welcomed.
She later admitted that hearing his story made her emotional and brought tears to her eyes.
Martins was the third contestant introduced in the “Show Ya Sef” edition of the reality show.
He is from Kogi State and works as a model, creative director and visual storyteller.
His career involves creating visual concepts, developing creative ideas and working in fashion, media and public speaking.
According to Martins, joining the Big Brother Naija reality show is an opportunity to gain more public attention, grow his career and increase his presence in Nigeria’s entertainment and creative industry.
