Nigerian TikTok creator Habeeb Hamzat, popularly known as Peller, has revealed that he bought his TikTok account for ₦100,000 when it had about 30,000 followers, before turning it into a platform with millions of followers.
Peller made this known while speaking about his rise on TikTok and the effort he put into building his online career.
He explained that the account had already attracted a small number of followers when he acquired it, but the people who previously owned it did not see much potential in it.

The content creator said he saw an opportunity where others did not and decided to invest his time and energy into developing the account.
He credited his confidence, passion and determination for the growth that followed after he took over the account.

According to Peller, he was convinced that the TikTok page could become a major platform, despite its modest following at the time.
He said he set out to transform the account and build a strong audience around his content.
Peller has now grown the account from about 30,000 followers to roughly 17 million followers, making it one of the major platforms through which he reaches his audience.
The TikTok star also used the occasion to announce a cash giveaway for his followers.
He revealed plans to distribute ₦2 million among them as part of his celebration.
He said: “I bought this TikTok account for just 100k naira and it was at 30k followers. They didn’t believe in the account. Have passion. I told the account I will grow you and make you a celebrity. I made the account, they account did not make me. Today I am currently on 17 million followers. I believed so much in myself. I will share 2 million naira to my followers today.”
