Nollywood actor and filmmaker Femi Adebayo has spoken on how he handles false stories and claims about him on social media.
The actor said he has reached a stage in his life where he no longer allows social media opinions or reports to influence the way he lives.
Femi made this known during an interview with Morayo Brown, where he explained that stories shared online can contain both facts and false information.
According to him, the best way to deal with such narratives is to remain confident in one’s actions and maintain a clear conscience.
He said he chooses to concentrate on doing what he believes is right instead of spending his time responding to every claim or report made about him online.

Femi added that his focus is on living according to what he believes is right and maintaining his relationship with God, rather than seeking approval from people on social media.
The actor noted that once he is convinced that his actions are right and that God is pleased with him, he does not allow what people say about him to affect him.
He said, “At this point of my life I don’t allow social media to drive my life because I have realised that in every news there will be the truth and also the false. And always be very sure you are good with your conscience.
“Do what is absolutely correct and just ignore all the false narratives about you. The moment God is pleased with me, l don’t care what anyone says”.

Femi Adebayo has established himself as an actor, filmmaker and producer in the Nigerian entertainment industry, particularly through his work in Yoruba-language productions.
He has featured in and produced several popular films, including King of Thieves and Jagun Jagun, which attracted attention among Nigerian movie audiences.
He also ventured further into television production with the Netflix series Seven Doors, which was released in December 2024.
The series featured several established actors, including Chioma Akpotha, Ronke Oshodi Oke and Sola Sobowale.
