World-renowned boxer Anthony Joshua was involved in a serious road accident in Makun, Ogun State on Monday morning.
The incident occurred along the busy Lagos-Ibadan Expressway just after 11am, witnesses said.
According to onlookers, the Lexus Jeep carrying Joshua — bearing plate KRD 850 HN — smashed into a stationary truck as circumstances surrounding the collision remain under investigation by local authorities.
Joshua escaped with minor injuries, sources confirmed, while two occupants of the vehicle died instantly at the scene.
The crash happened near Danco Filling Station, close to the Sagamu Interchange toward the Ibadan direction.
