Director General of the World Trade Organization, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, has congratulated the Nigeria Super Eagles for reaching the final of the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) ongoing in Ivory Coast.
Okonjo-Iwela in a post on her X page (formerly Twitter) said the victory put a smile on all our Nigerian’s faces.
She tweeted: “We got it done!! Our very own @NGSuperEagles did it. Congratulations!! You have put a smile on all our faces. Let me also congratulate our South African brothers in @BafanaBafana for a valiant showing. Let’s now march forward.”

Nigeria Super Eagles defeated Bafana Bafana of South Africa in a penalty shootout yesterday to reach the final of the tournament.
Super Eagle will play the host nation Ivory Coast on Sunday, 11 February.
